Areas of Specialty
Individual Psychotherapy
I offer therapy that honors the whole person, including mind, body, and emotions. In our work together, we explore patterns, beliefs, and habits that shape your life while also noticing your strengths and capacities. Therapy is a space to reflect, experiment, and try new ways of responding so change feels authentic and sustainable.
My approach is humanistic and holistic. I combine compassion with practical support to help you navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change. I’m especially interested in how patterns show up in real time—including in our work together. The focus is on supporting you in understanding yourself more deeply and discovering strategies that fit your unique life rather than following a one-size-fits-all formula.
ADHD
ADHD is not a flaw—it’s simply a different way of experiencing and interacting with the world. I help clients make sense of how their brains work while unpacking the shame, frustration, and grief that can come from living in environments not built for neurodivergence.
Using practical, evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, executive functioning support, and strengths-focused strategies, we create systems and habits that are realistic and sustainable. We tackle challenges like time management, starting tasks, emotional regulation, and overwhelm, while also recognizing and amplifying the creativity, energy, and unique perspectives ADHD can bring.
My approach is direct, supportive, and adaptive, emphasizing real-time problem solving rather than perfection or self-criticism.
Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety and depression can feel overwhelming, exhausting, and isolating, but they don’t define who you are. I work with clients to explore the underlying patterns and internal processes that fuel distress while making space for the emotions that come with it.
Rather than chasing quick fixes, we focus on noticing what’s happening in the moment. Using practical, evidence-based tools, we build skills to navigate mood shifts, manage worry, and respond to life with greater clarity and steadiness. My approach is flexible and personalized, tailoring each step to your needs and priorities so that growth feels sustainable, not forced.
Family of Origin Issues
Family shapes us in ways we often don’t always see. I help clients explore the influence of their upbringing—both the strengths they carry and the patterns that may cause pain or conflict in adulthood.
We honor the emotions tied to these experiences, from grief to frustration, while identifying new ways to relate to yourselves and others. The goal is greater clarity, more choice, and relationships that feel authentic and self-directed.
Life Transitions
Life transitions can feel disorienting, even when they’re positive. I support clients in navigating changes by helping them tune into their values, strengths, and emotional responses.
Together, we explore what’s ending, what’s beginning, and what may need to change to make space for what’s next. I combine practical strategies with reflection and awareness so you can move through change with clarity, confidence, and a sense of agency rather than being swept along by uncertainty or overwhelm.
Stress
I view stress not as a personal failing but as a natural signal that something in our life or environment needs attention.
My approach emphasizes understanding the processes that generate stress, cultivating present-moment awareness, and developing practical ways to respond rather than react. We look at the thoughts, habits, and expectations that amplify stress while honoring the emotions behind it.
Together, we build sustainable ways to increase resilience, focus on what is within your control, and create space for balance, and intentional action.
